John Frusciante – The Empyrean
2009-02-19Since the Red Hot Chili Peppers are on an extended hiatus, guitarist John Frusciante has just released a new solo album, entitled The Empyrean. John is a very gifted songwriter and guitarist who writes amazing music, but don’t expect his solo stuff to sound like RHCP. Frusciante’s solo stuff is much more laid back and ambient. In 2004 he released 6 albums within a year (no that’s not a misprint)! My two favorite Frusciante albums are Shadows Collide With People, and Inside of Emptiness. Be sure to check out the songs Carvel and Look On.
